Audrey’s Bio

Audrey Fontaine has been a Massage Therapist specializing in Swedish Massage, Reiki, LomiLomi, Deep Tissue Massage and Spa Treatments for 20 years.  She has been teaching Spa Treatments, including Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy Raindrop Technique, Body Exfoliation, Seaweed, Mud and Clay Wraps, Aromatherapy and Reiki, to other Massage Therapists since 1996. Audrey also performs Ayurvedic massage, Shirodhara, and various exfoliations, facials, and aromatherapy oils specific to Ayurveda. 

She is licensed by the States of California and Connecticut, in addition to holding Massage permits in both the city and county of Monterey.  She is also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and has been an American Massage Therapy Association member, both since 1993.

She received the 2003 Meritorious Award from the CT Chapter of the AMTA, served as editor of the AMTA CT Chapter Newsletter from 2001 – 2003, was elected as a delegate to four AMTA National Conventions, in addition to attending AMTA Regional Conferences for 12 years.

Audrey approaches her work as a Massage Therapist from a very healing perspective, tailoring each session to meet the needs of the individual.  She truly enjoys what she does, and it shows in the quality and detail given to each appointment.
